Leeds West Little Movers

At our nursery, we are delighted to offer Leeds West Little Movers, led by Dannii, who provides fun and engaging 30-minute dance and movement sessions for the children. Using a variety of exciting props, music, and imaginative activities, Dannii encourages children to explore movement, develop coordination, and express themselves creatively.

These sessions help to support children's physical development, balance, and gross motor skills, while also building confidence, listening skills, and social interaction. Through dancing, movement games, and prop-based activities, children enjoy an active and enjoyable experience that promotes both their wellbeing and learning in a fun, inclusive environment.

French Lessons

Zoe, our Language Learners teacher, has been delivering engaging language classes since 2020. Her carefully planned weekly sessions introduce children to French through fun, interactive activities tailored to their age and stage of development.

For babies and toddlers, learning takes place through songs, rhymes, stories, role play, and creative activities, helping children become familiar with a new language through play and exploration. For preschool children, sessions are based around fun characters and age-appropriate games, songs, and activities that make language learning enjoyable and pressure-free.

Early language learning supports communication, confidence, literacy skills, and imagination, while encouraging children to develop a positive attitude towards learning new languages.

Scientots

At our nursery, we offer exciting Scientots sessions that inspire children's natural curiosity and love of learning. Through hands-on experiments and engaging activities, children explore a wide range of scientific topics, including bugs, bubbles, dinosaurs, digestion, and much more.

These fun and interactive workshops encourage children to develop their problem-solving skills, communication, critical thinking, and understanding of the world around them. Each session is carefully linked to the EYFS, supporting children's learning and development through meaningful scientific discovery. Children are also encouraged to extend their learning beyond the session through simple follow-up activities that can be enjoyed both at nursery and at home.

Zoolab

At our nursery, children have the exciting opportunity to take part in ZooLab sessions, where they can meet a variety of animals and large insects in a safe, hands-on learning environment. Led by experienced ZooLab Rangers, these interactive classes allow children to learn about different creatures, their habitats, and how to care for the natural world.

Through engaging activities and close animal encounters, children develop their understanding of the world, build confidence, enhance communication skills, and foster a respect for living things. These memorable experiences spark curiosity and encourage a lifelong interest in nature and wildlife.
