Our Vision

We provide a happy, safe and secure nursery setting in which each child's individuality is recognised and encouraged. We ensure that our staff team create a loving, caring and nurturing learning environment with a focus on early years stimulation and development. Children are supported in developing confidence, autonomy, self-respect, kindness and independence.

We believe parents should be involved in all aspects of their child's learning and development and we highly value the partnership with our parents, carers and other relatives. Parents and staff work closely to ensure that the children enjoy everything on offer at Bumbles and make outstanding progress.

There are a range of daily, weekly and termly events which parents can take part in, including bedtime story sessions, attending celebrations of various festivals, mothers day/fathers day or grandparents day, stay and play sessions, outdoor trips, sports days and end of term picnics to list but a few.

At Bumbles we know that you are the most important people in your children’s early lives. Children learn about the world and their place in it through their conversations, play activities, and routines with parents and families.

Always share information with you on a daily basis, whether this is telling you about your child's day or simply sending you a quick message to let you know your child is settled.

We promise to...

Treat you with the respect you deserve, you are the most important person in your child's life and we know how difficult it is to leave your child in someone elses care. This is why we have CCTV which is available to you at any point during our opening hours.

We promise to...

Love, comfort and develop your child to the best of our ability. You can rest assured your child will be in the best care at Bumbles.

We promise to...

Keep the nursery clean, tidy and full of age appropriate, developmentally friendly resources. We will provide your child with fun and stimulating activities on a daily basis.

We will ensure our partnership stays strong by;

*Sending home a daily report sheet detailing aspects of your child's day, including what they've eaten, if they have slept and how much fun they've had!
*Holding regular parent consultation evenings between you and your child's key person. This will ensure we are working together to track your child's developmental and growing progress.
*Using a parent email system to keep you updated on any news or changes at Bumbles.
*Inviting you on nursery outings.
*Providing you with the opportunity to contribute to your child's profile, this may be on paper or using our online tracking system.
*Holding regular parent play sessions. You will be invited to stay and play with your child on a different day and time each month, this will enable working parents to attend on a day to suit them. The stay and play will vary from something as simple as a half an hour 'read to your child' session, to something as incredibly fun such as a crazy hour of painting or making your own magical garden!
